This guy, one of our boat guides aboard the Tigresse catamaran, has one of the worst jobs ever. Imagine having to take city visitors out to see eye-watering views like this each day.

Illuminating rays of light
These are the court buildings in Cape Town - across the road from the Company's Gardens. See what I did there, hey? ;)
Miss you Madiba
I found these old news prints inside a restaurant on St George's Mall. The more time moves on, the more we miss former president Mandela.

Cape Town from the sky
This has to be one of the best perspectives on the city. A friend got this tandem paraglide as a birthday gift... pretty awesome hey? :)

Vasco da Gama
Cape Town has some history with Portuguese sailor Vasco da Gama. I took this photo at the Vasco da Gama Tavern in De Waterkant. The Vasco da Gama is one of the older pubs in Cape Town. It's so old that my dad (who used to work at Table Bay Harbour and who's now in his 70s) regales stories of how he used to visit the pub over lunch times for their legendary eisbein.
Wonder Woman
Kerry-Anne loves this figurine. It's something about the look in her eyes.
Superman
Even though I've never been much into Superman - this is a pretty awesome-looking figurine.

She seemed lost in concentration, developing her character on the paper that extended many meters along the wall at Free Comic Book Day on 2 May.

Where is the Trojan Horse Massacre memorial?
If you can't find the memorial. I searched for a while but couldn't find a single reference to the exact location of the Trojan Horse Massacre memorial. I eventually found it in Thornton Road, 105 Thornton Road to be exact. Here's a map, and here's the StreetView link. :)
The Trojan Horse Massacre
On 15 October 1995, government security forces and railway police killed three youths in a small Cape Town suburb of Athlone. This photo is part taken of a small part of the memorial that states "Remember the Trojan Horse Massacre" and serves as a reminder of our past, and a warning for future generations.
